In addition to the original cast, several new faces will be appearing in the second movie. The role of the lovely Gilderoy lockhart will be played by Kenneth Branagh, famous for his Shakespeare movies (Much Ado About Nothing's my favourite), and definitely in possession of bagfuls of talent. Scottish Shirley Henderson takes the part of Moaning Myrtle, and Jason Isaacs plays the thoroughly evil Lucius Malfoy. The film poster shows a very bedraggled looking Dobby, who is voiced by Toby Jones. And of course, who can forget Aragog the spider, voiced by Julian Glover? Release date is the 15th November, a little ahead of the christmas rush this time. Possibly an attempt to avoid competing against that other blockbuster, The Lord of the Rings?
Further news - dissatisfied with the salaries for the first film, Zoe Wannamaker will not be reappearing as Madame Hooch in further films.
