Wizarding Stuff |
Everything's here that we couldn't find another home for, so go ferret around! :)

Wizard Money
Wizards use a system of Galleons (Gold coins), Sickles (silver coins) and Knuts (bronze coins) there are 17 Sickles to one Galleon, and 29 Knuts to a Sickle. Wizards store their money in vaults in Gringotts - the goblin bank.

Vaults
Most of the Gringotts vaults have keys, but some must be opened by a Gringott's goblin who strokes the doors. If this is attempted by a non-goblin, they are sucked inside. The vaults are checked for prisoners every ten years.
Sirius Black's vault is 711, whilst the Philosopher's Stone was removed from vault 713. Is this Nicholas Flamel's vault? Who owns vault 712? Which vault is Harry's?
